Making my Holiday Challenge Bag

Here are some pictures as I am in the process of making the bag from a pack of Moda charms called Wildflowers. I didn't have quite enough so had to use another fabric for the sides and bottom. The inside is made from a Marcus Bros shabby chic print and I used some civil war prints for pockets. I made lots and lots of those. It will be a handy bag for crafting and carrying all the supplies. DH says the handles will break but I do believe I secured them well. I am showing some pix of construction but didn't think of it when I was cutting. Then I put several views of the inside and out of the bag. The pattern called for appliqued hearts on the front but I have a Rosey Posey block trimmed in pink for my front and then it is surrounded by charms. Overall I really like the look.

Here is my finished bag. Probably the largest bag I have ever made.

Nice bag, Fran. Love those colors! One of these days I'm going to get back into quilting! ~~Annie

I did quilt it. Forgot to mention that. Actually it as an easy pattern. It called for sewing the strips together with the batting in them and then sewing down the other squares to make like stitch in the ditch but I use the stipplng to do mine.

You did a great job on the bag, as usual.
